|The Contacta V34a Pro is a highly efficient and powerful constant current, dual output hearing loop driver. It can be used to power phased array loop designs. It is suitable for large sized facilities and venues such as theatres, concert halls, places of worship, sports arenas and conference facilities.
The V34a has a Class-D amplifier output stage and the audio subsystem is built around advanced digital systems, including an ARM Cortex processor and dual DSP cores. When combined with the powerful CPU this ensures peak performance at all times. The V34a is network enabled, installation is simple, and the cutting edge technology it utilises ensures that it achieves life-like speech reproduction and first class music quality.
It features an intuitive and sleek user interface consisting of a full colour LCD screen and a single control dial, which makes adjusting the unit simple and straightforward. The unit also features integrated universal switch mode power supplies, which provide ultra efficient power utilisation which is up to 90% efficient.
The V34a is continuously self testing itself, so you can rest assured that any faults can be quickly and easily identified. This intelligent self monitoring system can also supply status e-mails on changes to driver functions when the unit is connected to a network, so you'll constantly be able to monitor the status of your loop system, even if you're not on site.
Setting up the V34a is made simple thanks to the built in guided hearing loop setup, and it even features an integral test signal generator. Please note however that an FSM is still required to fully commission a system. The drive and loop output levels can also be adjusted using the embedded LAN service, minimizing the installation time by cutting out the back and forth. The settings can even be physically saved to a USB storage device, so you can rest assured in the knowledge that your system settings are backed up.
Inside the unit there are integrated protection circuits with temperature, voltage, short circuit and DC detection. The internal circuitry also features dual-DSP controlled AGC (automatic gain control) as well as high frequency compensation for metal loss, allowing the unit to perform even in environments where other loop amplifiers may struggle.
is compatible with standard 19" racking
as standard using the included rack mounting ears. If you don't have space in your existing equipment rack then there is a 6U Cabinet (IL-AC-RACK-19
) available, and to finish the rack off there are blanking plates available (MBR-VBLANK
) as well.
It's also worth remembering to add an IL-RX20
loop tester to your order to ensure you can complete regular tests as required by the current British Standard.
